Our Beliefs

  • That God superintended the authors of the Scriptures so that, using their own individual literary styles, they composed and recorded, without error, God’s revelation to man in the words of the original manuscripts. Because of this, the Bible is the final authority under God in the life of the Christian.

  • In one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons--the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and having the same attributes and perfections.

  • That the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became a man without ceasing to be God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Further, we believe that He died on the cross for our sins as our substitute and that He physically rose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He is now exalted at the right hand of God where He is our High Priest, Intercessor, and Advocate.

  • That the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and that He indwells all believers, operating as the Divine Teacher who leads men into all truth and empowers the believer for godly living and service.

  • That man was created in the image and likeness of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost and entirely unable to save himself.
